...that in one week, when finals and school are OVER, I'll be back to blogging. Until then, perhaps I'll pass my finals with the wit of these fellas! ;)

Funny Anecdote...

My teacher for Retail Management told us a story last week about when he was working in the industry. The company he worked for had a private label and a factory to produce the merchandise overseas. In the 1990s, the factory somehow misunderstood the instructions for the long sleeved shirt for men and somehow made it so one sleeve was long and the other was short. Corporate and upper management had no idea this happened and when the stores received the merchandise, they thought it was odd but put it out with the other clothing. By the time upper management found out about the mistake, the shirt had become a top seller and was flying off the shelf. People loved the unique look! Rather than take back the inventory, the factories had to make more!

So now whenever I make a mistake and I think it's a terrible screw up, I try to look at it in perspective- this huge fail could become the biggest win yet :)

Just another thing I probably think is more hilarious than it actually is.

Latest Yearning

As I sigh and sit at a computer all day working on projects and typing up homework (sighsighsigh)I've been day dreaming about sand, sun and a new bathing suite. I'm digging the whole retro look-











Now all I need is to buy one and get some confidence- the best accessory anyone wearing a bathing suite can have! :)

May Day :D

ohhh hooooray! it's my favorite month of the year! MAY!
So many terrific things happen in May:
-The weather is almost constantly warm, but not really hot
- Everyone becomes really happy
- Flowers are in bloom, leaves are on trees
- Mothers Day! :D
- I finish school
- oh, yeah, my birthday! ;)
Today was such a perfect day, after a terrific semi formal, I woke up early today, my hair still curly, and set out to walk around. I think Maggie Taylor's artwork describes this day and month perfectly~ Whimsy and beautiful :)

So....

just got compared to Elaine today. I think this is the best compliment I've recieved in a while! :)
